Keeping Your Account Safe Online
To better protect your account and personal data, we've introduced geo-blocking on our online services.
Geo-blocking restricts access from locations where we've identified high levels of suspicious or fraudulent activity. This measure has been implemented in line with guidance from our banking technology provider and is in place across financial institutions in Ireland.
Access is currently restricted from:
Belarus, China, Iran, North Korea, Russia and Vietnam
As the vast majority of our members are based in Ireland and the UK, this change will not affect your day-to-day access.
Travelling abroad?
If you're planning to visit any of the restricted countries, please make sure to transfer any funds you may need before you travel, as you won't be able to access your account from those locations.
